LAFC hosted Inter Miami in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal, with David Beckham and Stephen Curry among the notable attendees.
The Inter Miami co-owner met with a few LAFC players prior to the game including Olivier Giroud while Curry was given an unexpected reception from the crowd. The Golden State Warriors star was mildly booed by the home fans from the moment he appeared on the big screen.
They weren't the only ones, as Los Angeles Rams' stars Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua were also seen in the stadium.
LAFC emerged victorious with a 1-0 win, courtesy of a 57th-minute goal by Nathan Ordaz.

LAFC secured a 1-0 victory over Inter Miami in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal at BMO Stadium. A tight contest with chances for both sides, the decisive goal eventually arrived from LAFC's Nathan Ordaz in the 57th minute.
Despite the star-studded Inter Miami lineup featuring Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, and Sergio Busquets, LAFC's defense held firm to keep a clean sheet. The result marks Inter Miami's first defeat of the 2025 season and gives LAFC a crucial advantage heading into the second leg in Miami on April 9.

WHAT’S NEXT?
Following the first leg win over Inter Miami, LAFC will go on the road to face Houston Dynamo in the MLS on April 5 before they travel to Miami to face the Herons again in the second leg of the quarterfinal.
